LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police are on scene of a fatal crash in Louisa County.
The crash occurred around 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Belle Meade Road and Signboard Road.
State Police say that the crash involved two vehicles. The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, the driver of the other was med-flighted to UVA Medical Center with serious injuries. There was a one year old child in the vehicle driven by the person taken to the hospital. The child was not injured.
Troopers are currently investigating.
