PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – A Pittsburgh store clerk was more than prepared when a suspect came into a convenience store with a machete. The clerk had a sword behind the counter.
The confrontation was caught on surveillance camera. Police say two males wearing masks went into the Perry Market on Perrysville Avenue, one of whom went behind the counter and demanded money while armed with a foot-long knife.
The clerk pulled out a sword and the suspect ran out of the store.
The clerk says he could have used a gun to scare the suspects. He had one on him, too.
The suspect has not been found.
