Humidity on the rise; Scattered showers expected Tuesday

Humidity is on the rise in the area and the risk of rainfall will be on the way for several of the upcoming days in the area.   Tonight will start off with fair skies, but then we will see increasing clouds later as lows remain in the upper 60s and the lower 70s.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a chance for a showers or thunderstorm to develop late in the day.  Highs will warm to around 90 for many of us.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around Tuesday night and it will stay humid as overnight lows will fall down into the upper 60s and the lower 70s.

Wednesday, the tropical moisture will remain over the area.  That is going to cause a warm, humid partly sunny day.  High will be in the mid 80s with a good risk of showers and thunderstorms over us.   Thursday into Friday a cold front will sweep in here.  That means more boomers are on tap for Thursday afternoon and evening, and they could linger on Friday east of I-95.  High should be in the mid to upper 80s.

Right now the weekend is looking very nice for us, but next week another “Strong for August” cold front is going to move in bringing a return to showers and thunderstorms.
