CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — A father was charged with abuse and neglect of children in Chesterfield after leaving his three kids in a vehicle alone for 30 minutes.
24-year-old Kwaman J. Estes was charged with abuse and neglect of children and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police responded to the Lowe’s parking lot for a report that three children, Estes’ children, had been left alone in a vehicle for a period of time.
The children, ages 7, 6 and under one year, were okay. Police investigation indicates the kids were left alone for about 30 minutes.
Estes was also found to be driving on a suspended license.
