CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police are investigating after a Confederate flag was found burned and a home vandalized in Chesterfield overnight.
Police say the incident occurred in the 7600 block of Robinwood Drive. Police say it was reported that an unknown white vehicle was seen in the victim’s driveway. Four unknown suspects were also spotted in the victim’s yard around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. When the victim checked her front yard, no one was there.
This morning, the victim found that lawn decorations and lights had been knocked over in the front yard. The victim’s Confederate flag had also been removed from the flagpole. Later this morning, another resident in the neighborhood found the Confederate flag burned in his driveway.
