CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WRIC) – Police have arrested a juvenile in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday, Aug. 21.
Just before 8:30 p.m., a juvenile approached a person in the 4000 block Meadowdale Boulevard, brandishing a handgun. The suspect confronted the victim with the weapon and took cash before fleeing on foot.
Police responded and tracked the suspect to a business on Hopkins Road, where he was apprehended. The suspect was arrested and charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, concealed weapon and underage possession of a firearm.
The juvenile suspect is being held in the Chesterfield County Detention Home pending a hearing in Chesterfield County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
