CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA (WRIC) – Police are searching for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 7202 Midlothian Turnpike at 9:12 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police said the man pointed a silver handgun at a teller and passed a note demanding money. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 20-30 years old and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing sunglasses, jeans, a white t-shirt, and had a tan bag around his neck.
