(WRIC) — Tonight we’ll see mainly clear skies with a low of 64. Humidity starts to creep up a bit tonight and will be back in full force with the heat tomorrow.
The good news for those of you who want the heat and humidity gone is that it will only be here for a day, with the mid 80s back by Tuesday.
Getting back to tomorrow. We’ll see a few isolated shower chances through mid afternoon well ahead of an approaching cold front. Late afternoon we’ll see scattered storms move in with the front. Timing for more scattered activity looks to be from about 5pm in Charlottesville to 7pm in Richmond. Scattered storms will be with us through the evening with a few overnight as well. Tomorrow will top out at 91 steamy degrees.
Tuesday we’ll see some lingering showers well southeast of Richmond and the Tri-Cities. We’ll start partly cloudy but quickly bring the sun back in the afternoon with lower humidity and a high of 84.
Wednesday and beyond (through next weekend) feature dry skies with highs in the 80s.
