RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – A police chase ended in a vehicle accident at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and East Broad Rock Road on Tuesday evening.
Police say they stopped a vehicle for reckless driving, and that’s when the driver took off at a high speed and the chase began.
While going east bound on Midlothian the supect sideswiped several vehicles.Image may be NSFW.

Officers say the suspect threw a weapon from the vehicle during the chase.
The chase ended when the suspect struck a vehicle, and the suspects vehicle flipped over.
The driver of the vehicle that was struck has been transported to VCU Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
