NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) – Police are investigating the deaths of a teenager and a woman at a home in Newport News.
Police spokeswoman Holly McPherson says officers found 16-year-old Demonte Chambers of Newport News and 20-year-old Nickeia Hunter of Hampton dead inside the residence on Saturday evening.
McPherson says in a news release that Chambers lived at the residence. Hunter was an acquaintance who was visiting the residence.
She says the case is a death investigation.
Police went to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting a deceased individual.
