RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — We will see plenty of sunshine across central Virginia today and it will be hot and humid with highs in around 90 or slightly better in many areas.
Mainly clear skies will be over us tonight and it will be muggy with lows in the lower 70s.
Wednesday will be another hot and humid day under partly sunny skies with highs in the lower 90s. There is a slight chance for a few isolated thunderstorms later in the day, especially north and west of Richmond.
The heat and humidity will continue for Thursday and Friday with highs in the lower 90s under partly sunny skies. We will again run the risk for a few afternoon and evening thunderstorms for both Thursday and Friday.
A touch of cooler, refreshing air will come in on Saturday with mainly sunny skies and highs in the lower 80s.
Sunday and Monday will be very nice with highs in middle 80s under mainly sunny skies. Right now, we look to have some great weather for the first day of school in the Metro Richmond area with sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s.
