RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond City Health District is conducting a special School Immunization Clinic on the first day of school for Richmond Public School students.
Vaccinations for all school-age kids will be available.
Parents are reminded that 6th graders will not be allowed to attend class without documentation showing that they have received a Tdap booster vaccination.
The clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Health District Clinic, located at 400 East Cary Street. Clinic officials say you should use the Main Street entrance located at the corner of 4th and Main Streets for easier access directly into the clinic.
The clinic is walk-in and no appointment is needed.
Parents must bring their child’s shot record and insurance card, if they have insurance.
