RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — We will start off the day with sunny skies and it will be hot and humid once again with highs in the lower 90s.
Some clouds will pop-up during the afternoon and we could even have a few isolated thunderstorms late in the afternoon and evening. Most of us will remain dry, but if you do get one of those thunderstorms it will drop some locally heavy rain in short period of time. Our skies will be partly cloudy tonight and it will be muggy once again with lows in the lower to middle 70s.
Thursday and Friday will continue to be hot and humid with highs around 90 and there will also be a chance of some late afternoon or evening thunderstorms. The thunderstorms on Friday evening will be part of a cold front that will be dropping in from the north which will set us up for a delightful weekend.

Saturday will feature partly to mostly sunny skies with cooler temperatures and lower humidity as highs only climb into the lower and middle 80s.
Sunday will be a picture perfect day with sunny skies and highs in the lower 80s.
Labor Day Monday, the unofficial end of summer, will continue to be very nice with mainly sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s.
Tuesday, back to school for everyone, will feature partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 80s.
