HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — The U.S. Marshal’s Office on Monday arrested Ferlando Monroe, a fugitive from Hopewell wanted for eight criminal charges including felonious assault, burglary and grand larceny.
According to the Hopewell Police Department, Monroe, who went by the street name “Ferb,” broke into a home in the 700 block of Davisville Court on July 19 and had a verbal altercation with a woman before stabbing her in front of her 4-year-old child.
Police did not say where Monroe was arrested, but said he was taken into custody without incident.
He is being held at Riverside Regional Jail.
