CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police have released the identities of the victims of a recent triple homicide.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday, Chesterfield Police received a request from the Richmond Police Department to check the welfare of residents of a home in the 3200 block of Walmsley Boulevard. Responding officers arrived and found three adults deceased inside the home.
The adults were identified as Carl V. Hughes Jr., 71, Angela R. Anderson Hughes, 54, and Bianca L. Hughes, 22. All three victims lived at the residence.
Carl V. Hughes IV, 28, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in relation to the incident. Hughes IV, of the 3200 block of Walmsley Boulevard, is currently being held at Riverside Regional Jail.
The suspect is the son of Carl V. Hughes Jr., the stepson of Angela R. Anderson Hughes and the brother of Bianca L. Hughes.
