RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — If your route to work takes you over the Manchester Bridge, prepare for some delays.
Starting today, lane closures will begin as crews work to repair the bridge.
The right northbound lane of the Manchester Bridge and the two southbound left lanes of the bridge will be closed for demolition and repair of concrete decking. Alternating lanes on each side will be open.
These lane closures are expected to last until December 16.
Drivers are asked to follow road signs and find a different route if possible.
