Clear night expected, warm weather continues throughout the week

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Tonight will be clear with overnight lows in the mid to upper 70s.

Warm weather continued until the start of the weekend when it will get cooler over us.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with a few more clouds in the afternoon.  Highs will warm into the mid 70s to around 80.  Thursday night will be partly cloudy as a cold front approaches the area.  Lows will be in the middle 50s.  Friday, with the front to the south of us, it will turn a little cooler.  Expect to see mostly sunny skies with highs around 70s.

Saturday we will be in the middle 60s over the area, while rebounding back to near 70 on Sunday.  Sunday we will have a slight chance of a shower in the area as a second cold front passes.   That front stalls down to the south of the region early next week.  It will be in the 60s on Monday and Tuesday, with a mix of sun and clouds.  By Wednesday, moisture lifting out of the Gulf of Mexico will overrun the cooler air and bring the chance for rain in over us.
