CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police are investigating after one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in Ettrick Wednesday night.
The shooting took place in the 3100 block of Dupuy Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. Responding officers found two men lying in the parking lot of Garden Apartments suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Southside Regional Medical Center, where one of the individuals later died.
Police identified the man as 24-year-old De’Sean R. Harrison, of the 100 block Piedmont Avenue in Colonial Heights. Authorities say the other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
