HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — This weekend, the Henrico County Police Division and Virginia Division of Capitol Police will trade their ticket books for order pads and unite at Red Robin to serve guests for a special cause.
The event, dubbed “Tip-A-Cop,” will have your local “public servants” serving you lunch and dinner at the Red Robin at 11784 West Broad Street. It’s happening on October 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Employees of the Henrico County Police Division and Virginia Division of Capitol Police will be working for tips as to donate to the Virginia Special Olympics. The public is invited to attend lunch and dinner.
The Special Olympics Summer Games will take place on June 10 and 11 at the University of Richmond.
