RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities are trying to determine how a red sedan ended up in a pool at a Richmond home.
Police say officers were called to the 3800 block of Seminary Avenue for the report of a vehicle into a swimming pool around 7:08 a.m. Friday.
A male, the sole occupant, was driving eastbound on Laburnum Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle. The sedan drove through a hedge, broke through a fence and entered an in-ground swimming pool.
The driver, 19-year-old Terrell R. Williams of the 400 block of North Ivy Avenue, Henrico, suffered minor injuries. Williams was charged with reckless driving.
Tow company equipment removed the vehicle from the pool and the property.
