CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Police continue to investigate the death of a 32-year-old Nick Clavier, who was shot in the head while driving his four children Saturday afternoon on Hull Street Road east of Courthouse Road. So far, investigators have determined that the gunshot came from inside the car.
Investigators have ruled out Clavier’s four children, ages 9, 8, 6 and 4, of firing the weapon that was found in the floorboard of the SUV after the crash. Police still are not saying if the single bullet that struck Clavier came from the gun. They plan to release more information in the coming days.
Here is the link to the family’s Go Fund Me account. They have already raised more than $34,000.
