RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Although many parents believe it’s the best way to keep kids safe from passing cars, supervisors have decided not to move forward with installing cameras on school bus stop arms.
One local mom, whose child was hit by a car while getting on a school bus, says she will continue to fight despite the decision.
“I think they would understand how important it is to keep our kids safe if they only felt what I felt for just a half a second,” said Chesterfield parent Amy Ford.
