RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The man accused of smashing a car through barricades along the UCI race course last month was back in court Friday morning.
Michael Sciolino had three charges against him Nolle Prosequi, meaning they were dropped, but could be brought up anytime at a later date. Those charges included DWI, hit and run and resisting arrest.
Sciolino is also facing a felony charge of eluding, which will now go to a grand jury.
At last month’s arraignment, a lawyer for Sciolino said the 27-year-old had a sports injury the day before the crash and suffered a concussion.
Sciolino’s case will be back in court on December 7 to go before a grand jury.
Sciolino declined to comment Friday.
