CUCKOO, Va. (WRIC) — A very low magnitude earthquake was felt in Farmville, Buckingham, Cumberland and Fluvanna Wednesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reports a 2.6 magnitude earthquake hit about 7.5 miles east of Buckingham County around 6 a.m. Wednesday. The USGS Seismograph recorded the activity for about 30 seconds to a minute.
