RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Detectives need your help to identify a suspect who robbed a bank Monday in Carytown.
Police say around 9:20 a.m., the suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 3508 W. Cary Street, and passed a note to the teller indicating he was armed and demanded money. After taking cash, he fled along West Cary Street toward Nansemond Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male, between ages 25 and 30, wearing glasses, a cloth winter hat and overalls at the time of the incident.

Citizens with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
