RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Coyotes have been confirmed to be living in the James River Park.
Park officials posted on Facebook about the discovery. The post said that two years of game camera work by people with the Science in the Park group finally confirmed that coyotes are players in the park fauna.
“Size, leg length, and pelage say it is not a Red or Gray fox,” the post reads. “Second wild canid species for the Park!”
