CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Additional charges have been filed against Jeffrey Clark, the former Colonial Heights youth group leader who was arrested in September for inappropriately touching a child several times.
According to the Colonial Heights Commonwealth’s Attorney William B. Bray, the 45-year-old Clark is being charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a child, three counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of indecent liberties with a child by a custodian. All seven counts are felonies.
Clark, a former youth group leader at Immanuel Baptist Church, was originally charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery when he was arrested in early September. Police said Clark met his victim through his role with the church.
Clark is being held in the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
