RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU students gathered in the Compass Wednesday afternoon to hold a peace rally in support of University of Missouri students.
The VCU chapter of the NAACP organized the event and sent out an invite to local media. Dozens of students were in attendance.
The rally here in Richmond follows the resignations Monday of the university system’s president and the Columbia campus’ chancellor after student protested over the university’s handling of complaints about racism.
