HAMPTON, Va. (WRIC/AP/WAVY) — The case of a Richmond mother accused of concealing her son’s dead body in her car was continued in court Thursday.
The Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office tells 8News sister station WAVY-TV 10 that the case was continued until January 13 because prosecutors are waiting for the medical examiner’s final report.
Back in June, a state trooper discovered the remains of Quincy Davis inside Tonya Slaton’s trunk after pulling her over on I-64 in Hampton.
The last record of Quincy being alive are from 11 years ago when he attended middle school in Virginia Beach. A missing persons report was never filed.

Slaton is charged with one felony count of concealing a dead body.
