RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) —  Are you looking for a movie to see this weekend? Here’s a look at what’s new at the box office.

The Christmas Holiday is anything but relaxing for the members of the Cooper family in “Love the Coopers.” Four generations of the fam come together for the holiday. When some unexpected guests arrive, some old skeletons are revealed. The holiday comedy stars Diane Keaton, Olivia Wilde, Amanda Seyfried and Anthony Mackie. It’s rated PG-13.

“The 33” takes movie goers down into that collapsed mine in Chile in 2010 where dozens of miners were trapped for 69 days. It shows the audience, in earth rattling detail, what the miners did when the mine started collapsing that likely saved their lives. Based on the real events, it also details the rescue efforts that were made up above. Starrring Anotnio Banderas, Juliett Binoche and Martin Sheen the film is rated PG-13.

“My All-American” is the true story of Freddie Steinmark, played by Finn Witrock. He was one of the smallest players on the field but he always played with a big heart and lead the University of Texas at Austin to a championship season decades ago. From the writer of “Rudy” and “Hoosiers” the film costars Aaron Eckhart and Robin Tunney. It’s rated PG.
