NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The New Kent Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery.
According to authorities, a person reported an armed robbery on November 16 between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Jefferson Road and Lakeshore Drive in the Woodhaven Shores subdivision.
The victim reported that he was approached by a black male in his mid to late-20’s, wearing a black stocking cap. The sheriff’s office says the suspect displayed a firearm and left in a black SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Blazer.
No one was injured in the incident.
