RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Sunshine returns to the area for Friday, but now there are signs of a little bit of rainfall over the upcoming weekend in the area.
Skies clear tonight and the air will dry out quickly enough to prevent pea soup like fog from developing. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 40s. Tomorrow the sun is back, but highs will only make it to around 60 at best.
Friday night is clear, calm and cold over us. This means we will see the overnight lows drop well into the 30s by Saturday morning.
Saturday starts off with sunshine over us, but clouds increase during the day with highs near 55. There are indications now that showers will move through the area on Saturday night into Sunday. This will keep Saturday night a little milder. The showers move out of the way on Sunday, with afternoon sunshine. It will become breezy with highs in the lower 50s.
Monday and Tuesday will be seasonably chilly over us (this has been a warm month, so it will FEEL cold but actually is not that much below normal). Lows will be in the 20s and highs in the upper 40s to near 50.
Wednesday, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday all look fair and comfortable over us. Temperatures will be around 60 all three days. For those traveling, the Plains and the Midwest could deal with wintry weather over the holiday and it looks like we will see wet weather return on the back end of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
