SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. (WRIC) — The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two armed commercial robberies.
Deputies responded to an armed robbery around 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29 at Loan Max Title Loans, located in the 3900 block of Plank Road. According to authorities, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded cash.
On November 5, units again were dispatched to Loan Max around 5:20 p.m. for a second robbery. The clerk stated a white male entered with a handgun, demanded cash and left.
The suspect was described as a white male possibly in his 20s or 30s, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. In both cases, he wore a coat, mask and gloves.
