RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — With the UCI Road World Championship coming to VCU and downtown Richmond in September, there have some concerns about getting around in the area.
“It’s going to make parking and traffic a pain in the neck,” said one VCU RamSafe bus driver. “My business is driving, so I have to deal with traffic. I don’t like traffic.”
However, VCU has addressed these concerns as only rumors.
They say that road closures are inevitable for an event of this size and they are working on strategies to help people get around campus efficiently during the race.
