Another chilly night expected in RVA

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Clear skies and another chilly night with a low of 33 with light northerly winds.

Tomorrow features sunny skies and a high of 57. Winds stay light out of the N/NE at 4-8mph.

We’re still watching a system for Monday that, depending on the track, could bring us anything from light rain to completely dry skies.

A small area of low pressure off the coast of the Carolinas will organize and move northeastward. If it hugs the coast, we could stay completely dry here in central Virginia with the rain along the immediate coast line. If it has a bit more of a westerly track, areas mainly southeast of Richmond could see rain. Most models want to agree with the dry scenario, but I still think it’s a bit too early to go completely dry just yet. Regardless, if we do see rain, it won’t be a lot here in our area.

Highs on Monday will be in the mid 50s. Tuesday the sunshine is back with a high of 57. Wednesday is a near repeat with sunny skies and 58 degrees. Thursday is the beginning of a warming trend that brings 60s back into the picture…low 60s Thursday, mid 60s through next weekend.
