SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A little girl from Schenectady has received a special Christmas card from the White House.
Sa’fyre Terry was the only survivor of a 2013 arson that took the lives of her father and three siblings. She also suffered severe burns over most of her body.
A call was put out on Facebook to send the 8-year-old Christmas cards to fill her card tree. The post has since gone viral, and her P.O. Box is overflowing with love from around the world.

On Tuesday, pictures were posted to the Facebook page chronicling Sa’fyre’s journey that showed the little girl received a Christmas card from President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and the First Family.
Since news of her Christmas wish has spread around the world, Sa’fyre was given a limousine ride to look at Christmas lights with her friends in Albany’s Washington Park, and she has also been gifted a trip to Disney World.
