HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 9800 block of Durango Road in Henrico County on Saturday night.
Henrico County Fire Captain Rosenbaum says the fire originated in the living room of the home.
The occupants were able to make it out of the home uninjured, but the dog died from the effects of the fire.
The fire is under investigation.
The family of two will be displaced for a short period of time.
