RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are investigating after a double shooting left one man dead.
Officers responded to the 2200 block of Chateau Drive in the city’s southside around 10 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to VCU Medical Center, where he later died from his wounds.
Police tell 8News that another victim of the incident did transport himself to Chippenham Hospital after the shooting. He is considered to have non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not have a suspect description at this time and are asking the public’s help if they might have any information.
