HENRICO, Va – Henrico Fire responded to the 2300 block of Rocliffe Rd in Henrico County’s West End for an apartment fire at 8:50 Saturday morning. The occupant in the apartment was not at home at the time of the fire. First arriving units made it on scene in five minutes and reported heavy fire from the front of the apartment.
The fire was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading to the other apartments in the building. The apartment where the fire originated suffered extensive fire and smoke damage. The adjacent apartments suffered some smoke damage. Three families will be displaced by the fire for a short period of time. The fire was marked under control at 9:25 AM. There were no injuries related to the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s office.
