RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — This will be a tough one: VCU @ Saint Loius, Washington vs. Packers, Capitals (and Ovi’s 500 goal) vs. Ottawa. Oh, and VCU is facing a tough test as well. The Rams will have to show some grit, much like they did against Saint Joseph in their recent comeback win in the city of Brotherly Love. The 6-8 Billikens upset the early A-10 powerhouse George Washington in St. Louis 65-62. VCU, the winners of five straight, want to continue their winning ways.
This is the ninth meeting between the two squads — VCU leads the series 5-3 and has won the past three meeting.
Key for the Rams: Defense, defense, defense. And this team needs overcome any poor shooting issues early on. And the coaches need to continue to make in game adjustments.
Starters for VCU:
Mo Alie-Cox (F), JeQuan Lewis (G), Michael Gilmore (F), Korey Billbury (G), and Melvin Johnson (G)

8:24 — 3-ball for Brooks and 1. Four-point play for the Rams. 56–36 VCU.
Deep thought: VCU is playing well even though Marvin Johnson (12 points) is not having a great game.
Score update: VCU 66 — SLU 45
POY: Mo Alie-Cox get today’s pog as VCU get’s their sixth straight win.
Final score: VCU 72 — SLU 56
