(WRIC) — It’s not only birds of a feather that flock together.
A crow was photographed on the back of a bald eagle in a vary rare mid-flight ride. The eagle was hunting for a snack in Seabeck, Washington, when a nearby crow saw an open door for opportunity, according to The Daily Mail.

The chance meeting was captured by amateur photographer Phoo Chan, 50.

“It was as if it was taking a short break and at the same time a free ride,” Chan told The Daily Mail. “Eventually the crow flew away and the eagle continued to hunt for its breakfast. They both flew in different directions and it looked like they became friends.”

This crow wasn’t the first to start the trend of riding on another’s back… Remember the raccoon who earlier this month was spotted on the back of an alligator?
