RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) – Police are looking for two men who broke into a home Monday night while someone who lived there was hiding.
A few minutes before 5 p.m., two men broke into a home in the 5000 block of Devonshire Road in the Forest Hill neighborhood. The resident inside was able to hide and call police while the suspects rummaged through the house.
When police arrived on scene, they confronted one of the men in the back of the house, but the suspect was able to run out the front door before more officers arrived. Investigators told 8News police halted the burglary and the suspects were unable to take anything. No one was hurt in the invasion.
Police are looking for two suspects, both described as black men with short twists in their hair and wearing all dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
