NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville family who met Adele over the holidays was mentioned by the British superstar on a recent talk show appearance.

One day they stopped in a sushi restaurant and spotted Adele at another table.

Leslie mentioned to Adele they tried to buy tickets to her show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, but they were sold out.

As Adele was leaving, she asked the family for an email address so she could get them some tickets to the Nashville concert.

Weeks later, during an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Adele mentions the encounter with the Kirshners.

It turns out, she’d had a few glasses of wine before she met the family.

“The next day in the park, I find this email address in my pocket of another family from Nashville, who told me their show was sold out,” Adele told Corden on the show. “So I got their email address to give them tickets to Nashville. That’s what happens when I’m drunk.”

“Most of the people that had seen the picture on my Facebook the day it happened didn’t believe that it was her,” Brady Morgan said. “So it was kind of rewarding for Adele herself to say that we, indeed, got to meet her.”

So far, the tickets haven’t arrived in the Kirshners’ email inbox. But they’re checking every day, including the spam and junk folders.

Jamie is away at college in Denver and Brady is a student in New Orleans. Both say they’ll be coming home to Nashville to attend the concert.

Adele’s Nashville tour dates are October 15 and 16.
