One of the best parts of getting a package in the mail is taking your frustrations out on the bubble wrap.
Popping those air-filled bubbles could help relieve some of the day’s stress and tension.
But there is sad news for pop-a-holics: A revamped version of the packaging will no longer pop.
The Wall Street Journal reports Sealed Air Corp. is rolling out a new version called iBubble Wrap. It is sold in flat plastic sheets that the shipper fills using a pump. The finished result will look like regular bubble wrap, but it won’t pop.
It’s a way to save space–traditional Bubble Wrap is shipped in big rolls, which takes up a lot of room on a delivery truck.
