RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are investigating two separate armed robberies that occurred on Friday.
The first occurred at 11:45 a.m. at the Metro PCS on Forest Hill Ave. Police say a black male suspect wearing a tank top and sweat pants brandished a firearm and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The second occurred at around 12 p.m. at a Rite Aid in the 6300 block of Jahnke Road. According to police, a roughly 5-foot-9, 200-pound black male suspect displayed a firearm and demanded narcotics. No details were provided regarding how much narcotics was taken.
No one was injured during either incident. Police say the two robberies are not being investigated as related.
