HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Fire crews responded to a fire at a commercial building in Ashland overnight.
Officials tell 8News that crews were called to 217 South Washington Highway for the report of a fire around 2:30 a.m. When units arrived on scene, they found a small fire burning the rear of the building.
It took them about 20 minutes to oust the flames.
No one was inside the building and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
