RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A few days of very nice weather is about to set up over the area as a fair weather system builds in from the Great Lakes.
Early this evening, there will be a couple cloudburst type showers around. Nothing strong or long-lasting, but they might bring a heavy downpour or two.
Skies will turn partly cloudy overnight with lows falling back into the middle 60s.
Thursday and Friday will both be mostly sunny over the area. Highs will be in the lower 80s on Thursday and in the mid to upper 80s on Friday.
Starting over the weekend much warmer weather is going to begin to move into the area. Highs will jump back into the lower to middle 90s over the weekend with lows back in the 70s. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the region on Saturday. They will become more widespread as we head through the early part of next week.
