NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 15-year-old boy died after he collapsed on the basketball court at Quinton Community Park in New Kent Wednesday night.
New Kent Fire officials tell 8News that emergency crews responded to the park around 7:30 p.m.
On the way to the hospital, crews performed CPR.
After arriving at VCU Medical Center, the teenager was pronounced dead. First responders say they did not find any visible wounds.
The teen’s identity has yet to be released.
