CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities have arrested and charged a local man with arson after a house fire over the weekend.
Fire crews responded late Friday at 11:52 p.m. to 10300 block of Elokomin Ave for the report of a house fire.
23-year-old Timothy Alan Pearson, Jr. of Chesterfield, was arrested and charged with arson.
Fire Marshals and police worked collaboratively on the investigation and determined the cause of the fire to be arson.
He is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail pending a bond hearing.
