RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Washington Redskins took a risk signing former New Orleans Saints outside linebacker Junior Galette to a one-year deal.
Galette was identified in a 2013 video that showed a man throwing punches and swinging a belt that hit two people. In January, Galette was arrested on domestic violence charges that were later dropped even though he still faces a civil suit.
Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan spoke to the media Sunday about his new signee and why he is the right fit for the Redskins off the field.
